1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the HUMANOVA platform (humanova-geneva.org), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — we will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. Who we are
HUMANOVA — Centre for Applied Human Innovation is a non-profit association registered in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland (art. 60–79 Swiss Civil Code). We operate this platform to facilitate impact project screening, membership management, and association governance.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately at contact@humanova-geneva.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: submit false or misleading project information, use the platform for commercial solicitation unrelated to HUMANOVA's mission, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, disrupt or overload our infrastructure, or use automated tools to scrape content. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
5. Project submissions
When you submit a project for HUMANOVA review, you grant us the right to evaluate it using our screening tools, including AI-assisted analysis. You represent that the information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Submission does not guarantee funding, support, or publication. HUMANOVA reserves the right to decline any application without explanation.
6. Membership
Membership applications are subject to approval by the HUMANOVA Board. Membership fees are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable once the membership period has started, except where required by applicable Swiss law. Members who violate these terms may have their membership revoked without refund.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this platform — including texts, logos, designs, and software — is the property of HUMANOVA or its licensors and is protected by Swiss and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.
8. No warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, that AI-generated analyses are accurate, or that project evaluations will lead to any specific outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, HUMANOVA and its officers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@humanova-geneva.org. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but these terms otherwise survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
